It can be used for commercial applications such as restaurant booths and bar seats or residential applications such as tractor seats, snowmobile seats or floor seating.
Rebonded foam is an open-cell multi-colored polyurethane foam that is firm but flexible. This foam is made from reclaimed and scrapped foams. Our rebounded foam is a 6lb density which allows for it to be used in many different applications. Commonly used as carpet padding, rebounded foam can also be used for foam sitting ottomans, Arabic seating, gymnastics pads, motorcycle seats, etc. Rebonded foam is great to use for things that get maximum use that require durability. It can be used for commercial uses such as restaurant booths and bar seats or residential applications such as tractor seats, snowmobile seats, or floor seating.

The best way to cut the open-cell foam is with a sharp knife or electric carving knife. Just repeat in one direction to get a clean cut. Please note that if you order these full-size sheets they may be bigger than the actual size listed.
When comparing different types of foam with other companies, it is most important to look at the density and ILD of the foam.
Foam density is a specific measurement of how much weight in pounds polyurethane foam can handle per cubic foot. This density rating tells you the strength of the foam. The higher the number, the longer the foam will last. It should not be used exclusively as a sign of durability or comfort, because the firmness and lifespan of foam products just like mattresses and cushions depend on many factors, including density. The density may vary slightly between each foam shipment.
The ILD or IFD measurement shows how hard or soft the foam is. The higher the number, the more firm the foam. It also represents how many pounds the foam will hold before it collapses. If you take a 12″ x 12″ x 12″ foam cube after the certain ILD is reached before that foam will collapse.
We vacuum pack the foam to reduce shipping costs. You will have to give the foam 1-2 days to return to its original shape. It will look a little misshaped and not measure to correct size until after it expands.
