This foam is typically used for foam mattresses and sofa back cushions as it offers comfort coupled with support. This foam is high density and rubber-based so it is made to last 15 years given daily use and is typically ideal for people weighing less than 250 lbs. This foam is rubber based so it will not break down over time like standard foam. This foam will hold its support and comfort for many years.

The best way to cut the open cell foam is with a sharp knife or electric carving knife. Just repeat in 1 direction to get a clean cut. Please note that if you order these full-size sheets, they may be bigger than the actual size listed.

The higher the number, the longer the foam will last. ILD or IFD measures how hard or soft the foam is. The higher number, the firmer the foam. This also represents how many pounds the foam will hold before it collapses. If you take a 12″ x 12″ x 12″ foam cube after the certain ILD is reached, that foam will collapse.
