Wedge Foam Tiles

With their linear structure and anechoic design, wedge foam tiles meld form and function with a refined style underscored by efficient sound absorption. The wedges work to enrich acoustical dynamics such as maximizing speech intelligibility and minimizing reverberations. The foam can be easily installed on surfaces with water base adhesive. It is recommended to add Wedge Foam Tiles to rooms at the end of construction projects.

1” Thick Acoustic Wedges performs best with sound waves of the mid and high frequency range. They are most commonly affixed to ceilings but can also be applied vertically as wall treatment. This economical, thinner wedge foam is meant for rooms that needs some sound absorption but not demand total control.

1.5” Thick Acoustic Wedge foam is exclusive unique thickness that no one on the acoustic market has in this shape and is a cheaper alternative. Perfect for echo or reverberation and acoustically sound deadening rooms, with a lot of bouncing sound waves.

2” Thick Acoustic Wedges are a popular option for controlling sounds in rooms of the smaller to medium sizes, such as vocal booths. This thickness is ideal for those looking to execute their own soundproofing installation projects without hiring a professional to do the labor.

3” Thick Acoustic Wedges harbor twice the absorbency power as their 2” counterparts and can therefore be used to manage more spacious environments.

4” Thick Acoustic Wedges provide maximum effects in large spaces in need of topmost sound control, such as mastering rooms or drum booths. At 4”, the substantial wedges offer three times more low-end dampening than the 2” sheet. Environments that are prone to low-frequency issues call for our thickness option of acoustic foam.

You can put this wedge foam tiles in different directions to provide a modern visual appearances. Colors are valuable in charcoal, burgundy, red, purple, blue, and green.

* Please note: there may be air holes or “birthmarks” that cannot be controlled or replaced. If you need to see a picture of what it looks like please let us know.

* We vacuum pack the foam to reduce on shipping cost. Please opened package right away and you will need to give the foam 1-2 days to come back to its original shape. It will look a little misshaped and not measure to its correct size until after you let it expand back out.

 * To remove the tiles off of the wall (without adhesive glue) try to use a steamer and then you may need liquid paint thinner.

Our acoustic tiles are cut exactly to size as shown on our web site but when we used a machine to compress the foam sometimes the acoustic foam will not come back to size.

The acoustic foam will have a +-1/4” tolerance.

If the tiles that are too big can be push and compress down to place when gluing to make it the correct size. The tiles that are too small can be stretch a little to make it the correct size.

If you have any questions or concerns about this statement please feel free to contact us.
